Whetting period
The period should be decided according to card sliver quality index, card clothing condition and processing fiber value. Light whetting or no whetting under the condition of smooth new card clothing.
Whetting methods
Plane abrasion
1.Material selection: aluminium oxide abrasive wheel; particle size is 60~80;
2.Direction: cylinder: up-grinding; doffer: up-grinding or down grinding;
3.Speed: low-speed grinding: cylinder: 8~20 r/min; doffer: 20—30 r/min; grinder roll: 00—1200r/min;
4.Time: cylinder: 4~6hours; doffer: 2—4hours;
5.Satin finish:
